Insecurity: Armed robbery at MM Airport

The 'Daredevils' made a bitter sweet getaway at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
Last month, armed robbers made a significant shutdown of (MMIA) to suit their terrifying operation against operators of bureau de change within the perimeters of the airport.
The Nigeria Police Force engaged these monsters in a 20 minute shootout to no avail. Many were reportedly injured or disposed of their valuables.
For the first timers, they could stare only with mouths agape.
With the alarming rate of insecurity, you may wonder why it had to happen yet again.
Officials of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) are usually accused on a daily basis for extortion. Yes!
If you are a customer to nigerian airports, it is nothing to be alarmed about because you may have been a victim of that as well.
In other news, two in-flight thieves were apprehended last week while attempting to steal the sum of N1.5 million in a passenger's luggage.

The Aviation Ministry should, as a matter of urgency, invite the operators of these airlines and all the security agencies in the airport, including the Nigeria Police, to find an immediate solution to this national embarrassment.
