Leadership Editors Regains Freedom

The Nigerian police force has released four editors of Abuja-based Leadership newspaper following public outcry and international condemnation over their arrest and detention yesterday.
The editors are required to report to the police headquarters daily until the police hierarchy decide what to do with them.
Four editors of the newspaper were arrested yesterday over a report alleging that President Jonathan planned to clamp down on opposition figures in the country, the newspaper also published a document it said emanated from office of the president.
