Local Govt Polls: No movement in Edo
(All Africa) - In view of the Local Government election holding in the state today, the Government of Edo State has declared restriction of movement throughout the duration of the election. According to a statement by Peter Okhiria, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Oshiomhole, the restriction of movement was from 6:00am to 5:00pm during which the election will hold. The statement also said only security personnel, electoral officers, accredited election observers, accredited press men and others on essential duty were exempted from this restriction order.
