President Goodluck Jonathan to Reconsider Amnesty for Boko Haram?

President Goodluck Jonathan may reconsider the 'calls for amnesty' for the sect.
To make this a reality, the President met for several hours on Wednesday night with members of the powerful Northern Elders' Forum, NEF at the Presidential Villa. It is most vulnerable for everyone if the atmosphere remains foggy.
The elders are presumably pressured to sign an undertaking underscoring the fact that all members of the sect must lay down their arms and accept peace.

The Federal Government is to set up an Amnesty Commission, which would serve as a quasi-judicial body, to register and cater for repentant members of the sect and protect them from being harassed or intimidated by security agents.
