Nigeria thumps Sweden 3 – 0 to face Mexico in final
Sweden had a target of reaching the quarter-finals and that's just what they got.
The coach however exclaimed before the match that "Nigeria is beatable"
Chuckles! Beatable?!
Okay perhaps, but certainly not by Sweden!
Goals coming in the 21st, 80th and 81st minute is enough to show the superiority of Golden Eaglets.
Scorers are; Awoniyi, Okon and Ezeh.
Don't forget, Nigerian Eaglets and the Swedish side met in the opening rounds of the FIFA U-17 and the eaglets came back from 2 goals down to equalise making the end result 3 - 3.
Nigeria will face Mexico who also suffered defeat in the opening round.
Mexicans have improved just like the Nigerians but the build up rate is not comparable. Nigerians seem to have developed at a very high pace.
The Brazilian coach acknowledged the style of play of the Golden Eaglets and in his words..."this is what we call FOOTBALL"
