20 shocking facts about APC’s presidential candidate, general Muhammadu Buhari

We are about to witness the polls again in 2015 and obviously, the atmosphere is getting tense. Somewhere on the internet, we came across some shocking facts and we are forced to let it all out.

Here are some of the facts gathered below:
Sani Abacha and his atrocities against the federal republic of Nigeria got a nod from Buhari.
It is discovered that Buhari has never criticized General Sani Abacha.
Buhari gave a shocking remark on the 10th anniversary of Abacha’s demise, that nothing was stolen from Nigeria by Abacha. Despite all the dollars returned from all banks around the world in the name of Abacha, plus the formal signing by the Abacha family to return over $1B.
He remained of the fact that Abacha’s stealing remains unproven.
He organized smuggle of 53 suitcases filled with cash through the NWA against the protest of general Tunde Idiagbon and ironically, Abubakar Atiku (DG of Customs at the period).
He had attempted to shut the media up by an obnoxious Decree 4. He jailed journalists via the medium.  Ndukar Irabor and Tunde Thompson of “The Guardian” were jailed on stories that were factually true. Okay it’s clear enough that he was an enemy of the media.
An NTA reporter MRS Vera Ifudu was sacked by Buhari as a military ruler for reporting a purported $2.8 Billion while Buhari was a petroleum minister. Gathered sources were traced back to Buhari’s account at Midland Bank, London Branch. General Olusegun Obansanjo scrapped PTF over misappropriation of funds by Buhari in view of this. Vera eventually secured a victory in court after providing sufficient evidence and was financially compensated.
All northern leaders were convinced by Buhari against the National Identity card Program on the basis of unraveling the actual population of the north which is still a myth till date.
The 20 Billion naira PTF money he misappropriated was never clarified to Nigerians how the money was spent. No project was executed in and out of the country.
As part of his tribalistic practices, placed Shagari under house arrest inside a palatial mansion in ikoyi, while he locked up Shagari’s vice Alex Ekueme in kirikiri prison.
In case you are wondering, Shagari is a Hausa/Fulani and Alex is an Igbo man
Ikemba Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, another Igbo man who had just returned from 13 years of exile in 1982 was locked up in kirikiri by Buhari. Nobody knew what Ojukwu’s offence was till date.
Buhari discriminated and castigated against people from other ethnic groups.
As PTF chairman, he employed a stunning number of Fulani/Hausas and concentrated PTF projects in the North of Nigeria.
This gives no more reason to doubt after reading El-Rufai’s Book.
Don’t forget Oputa’s “Truth and reconciliation panel” so soon. Buhari snubbed Nigerians whom he now needs their votes by failing to turn up for questioning. It could have been a perfect medium for him to redeem himself but who knows?
All we know is, Buhari has never at any point in time apologized to Nigerians for disappointing them.
After locking up Sam Mbakwe, who was the governor of Imo State, from October 1, 1979 to December 31, 1983 in jail, he went for one of Mbakwe’s wives.
Mbakwe received the news about demise of his two wives in jail.
He is a Coup Plotter that loves to overthrow Civilian Government and an Islamic fundamentalist who tells his northern followers to vote only Muslims.
He does not believe in equality before the law. He jailed Lateef Jakande, Jim Nwobodo, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, and Chief Ayo Ojewunmi on cases that had no basis. He allowed Awwal Ibrahim, the then Niger State Governor who was arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport with 14M pounds sterling and several millions of naira and dollars to be under house arrest.
Chief Ayo Ojewunmi became blind as a result of his imprisonment and died shortly after.
Buhari executed Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26).
These three were executed for a crime that has no capital punishment when it was committed.
Just after the Military Government of Buhari took over power, Prof., Ambrose Ali (a governor of Bendel at a time) was arrested and sentenced to 100 years in prison by the military tribunal over trumped up charges. He was finally freed when the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion paid a fine to Buhari’s Government. Ambrose Ali died shortly after his release.
Buhari allowed Shehu Kangiwa (the Sokoto state governor from 1979 – 1981) to massacre poor peasant farmers whose lands were seized without compensation to remain under house arrest without punishment or proper imprisonment.
In 2011, Buhari’s CPC loyalists massacred and lynched youth corpers after the last election. A well meaning politician should be available to tender an apology on behalf of his ignorant loyalists but…Buhari refused to apologize.
He said the mob were angry because they felt the election was rigged.
Buhari pretended to have forgotten that CPC party rigged the election by registering under-aged voters. To come closer to equity, your hands must be clean they say…
On 4th of September 1984, minutes before leaving Nigeria for an extensive tour in US, Fela Anikulapo Kuti was arrested at the airport of Lagos on orders of Buhari and was jailed for 5 years on bogus charges. These charges came under the emergency laws initiated by the dictator Buhari.
The judge later apologized to Fela and confessed to being ordered to the sentencing. Get more detailed information by listening to Fela’s song – Army Arrangement.
Mallam El-Rufai who now sings praises on Buhari famously said, on October 5th 2010 that “General Buhari is perpetually unelectable because his record as a military head of state and afterwards, is a warning that many Nigerians in the past have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known” El-Rufai continued, “I was 25 years old when Buhari was Head of State and now that am 50+ he still wants to be president. I don’t understand that, I don’t understand that at all and I call on young people of Nigeria to take their future into their hands and ensure in the next election, they vote for a new generation of leaders.
