Fresh hope rose last week for Nigerian Tuberculosis, TB, patients as the World Health organisation unveiled a novel rapid diagnostic test and a shorter, cheaper treatment regimen that would speed up detection and improve treatment outcomes for multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).
