‘My Oga at the top,’ Shem Obafaiye, replaced or NOT?
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has replaced Shem Obafaiye as the Lagos State Commandant of the outfit.
The Commandant General, Olu Abolurin, made this known during a visit in Lagos at the weekend.
Clement Adesuyi, from the Oyo State Command, takes over from Mr. Obafaiye as the new Commandant.
No reasons were given for Mr. Obafaiye's eviction, but the populace attributes it to Channels Television live programme (where he was interviewed)
Mr. Obafaiye insisted that the NSCDC was not part of the job racketeering on the show.
In his words, "I can assure you that in Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, nothing like that is happening.."
However, his problem began from here,
"The one (website) that we are going to make use of is going to be made known by my Oga at the top. Yes. I can't announce one now, and my Oga says it's another one that we are going to use," Mr. Obafaiye further said,
"If you want to know about NSCDC as at now. Ok, www.nscdc…. That's all."
That line "...my Oga at the top..." is the top headline and most memorable start for fun makers in 2013
Gossips flew to another height insinuating the suspension of Mr Shem but the NSCDC denied it completely.
That leaves us with the puzzle...
Has "...my Oga at the top..." crooner Mr Shem Obafaiye of the NSCDC been relieved of his duties or NOT?
