As much as the Nigerian government is expected to ensure security of lives and property, the citizens have a role to play in making sure that their lives are safe. An image sent to Channels Television through its iwitness platform by Tola in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, paints a picture of a people not bothered about safety issues and traffic regulations.
The image emphasises the need for individuals to play their role in ensuring their safety and never put the lives of their family members at stake.
