Hughton delighted with Hooper’s ‘special’ strike
A lively game saw the Jacks take the lead through Nathan Dyer, who was later stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle, before the Canaries striker netted a stunning volley from 25-yards.
The £5million summer signing is in good form with four goals in six games and Hughton was thrilled by the forward's contribution.
"[It was] a special goal, you want your players to pull out their moments every now and again. There are some players who pull it out on a far more regular occurrence but he's in good form at the moment," he said.
"He's not only scoring goals he's working very hard for the team. But it was a special goal, you've got to have that type of ability to be able to do that."
Reflecting on Dyer's injury, which occurred from an awkward fall, Hughton said he would call the player and wish him a speedy recovery.
