"on Rooney, Fellaini and Van Persie’s reported desire to leave Man United" - Gordon Hill
Among other topics, the ex-Red Devils star looked to Robin van Persie's reported desire to leave the club and why he believes Marouane Fellaini is not up to the task at the Premier League champions.
On Rooney: "Last season Wayne Rooney wasn't very happy. I said at the time he needed to forget about all his agents. He needed to get himself fit, get stuck into it again and get back to where he was. He's done that so well done Wayne."
On Van Persie's reported desire to leave Man United: "They've got to learn they've got to take the good with the bad. Sometime they'll be up there and sometimes they won't. How can Van Persie be unhappy? He left Arsenal to join Man United and, all of a sudden, Arsenal are now back in the fight but he can't keep changing allegiances and flags every time something goes wrong. David Moyes can't build a team like that.
On Fellaini: "He's simply not United material. We are seeing that at the moment. We've paid an absolute fortune for the guy, well over what he's worth, and he's no better than what we've got. Is he better than anyone they had there already?"
